Our Charitable grant program earned a 2021 Gold Seal of Transparency! 

Annually 10 million donors look to GuideStar by Candid to review the mission, legitimacy, impact, reputation, finances, programs and leadership structure of nonprofit agencies. This compilation of information helps donors make informed decisions about which non-profit agencies they want to support. 

GuideStar provides basic information derived from the IRS on the 2.2 million non-profit agencies currently in the US.  Each non-profit agency is invited to provide additional information to their GuideStar profile to earn a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Seal of Transparency. 

We believe in the importance of transparency and accountability.  That is why we chose to give insight into our organization’s business practices and effectiveness.  One hundred percent (100%) of charitable donations are used to improve the health, well-being, and autonomy of Missourians with disabilities living below the poverty line. Midwest Special Needs Trust Charitable Trust Program makes an amazing impact in Missouri, and we want to showcase it!
