LA VONNE DANIELS - Executive Director

La Vonne has over 30 years of professional experience in public and private mental health services. La Vonne’s experience includes administration, planning, and evaluation of programs for children and adults. She has worked for state mental health agencies in Nebraska and Missouri, and for 10 years consulted with state and local mental health agencies throughout the United States on the development of community support services for adults with mental illness and systems of care for children with serious emotional disturbance. She joined the Midwest Special Needs Trust in January 2002 as Executive Director. La Vonne holds a Ph.D. in Education, with specializations in program evaluation and organizational studies.

KATHIE FORTH - Marketing and ITA Support Specialist 

Kathie has extensive experience as a legal assistant and office manager. Prior to joining Missouri Family Trust in May 2003, Kathie was employed for 20 years with the law firm of Cline & Associates in Columbia. She also has experience as a word processor for Shelter Insurance Companies. Kathie graduated from Salem High School and served 3 years in the Missouri National Guard.

LEXY BELL - Data Analyst and Report Specialist 

Prior to joining Midwest Special Needs Trust in October 2007, Lexy spent two years as spa coordinator at Riversong Spa and Salon and one year as night auditor for Amerihost Inn and Suites.  Lexy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems.

DENISE ELLIOTT - Administrative Assistant 

Denise has extensive experience in a wide range of office support and secretarial positions. She worked eleven years for the Department of Revenue. In addition, she worked for Advanced Radiology and Rusk Rehabilitation Center.
